Bahrain Statistical Society (BSS) is a non-profit professional organization that support the Statistician profession in Bahrain and has a main objective of contributing to make Bahraini individuals and organizations more aware of Statistics, its techniques and applications.
Objectives
- Promote the culture of using Statistics its techniques and applications, and keeping individual and organizations aware of them, at highest levels of quality, professionalism with adherence to governing values.
- Enhance competencies and capabilities of the society’s members (as well as non-members): both Statisticians and users of Statistics
- Encourage scientific statistical research; particularly statistical discipline.
- Conduct statistical researches, published for society prosperity, in coordination with concerned organizations and individuals.
- Strengthen professional and social relationships among members.
- Maintain profession ethics and its practices.
الجمعية البحرينية للإحصاء هي مؤسسة مهنية غير ربحية تدعم مهنة الإحصاء في البحرين وتهدف بشكل رئيسي إلى المساهمة في جعل الأفراد البحرينيين والمؤسسات البحرينية أكثر إدراكاً بالإحصاء وتقنياته وتطبيقاته.
الأهداف
- نشر ثقافة استعمال الإحصاء وأساليبه وتطبيقاته، والتوعية بها بين الأفراد والمؤسسات، ضمن أعلى مستويات الجودة والمهنية وبمراعاة القيم المعتمدة.
- الارتقاء بكفاءات وقدرات أعضاء الجمعية (وحتى غير الأعضاء) من الإحصائيين ومستعملي الإحصاء.
- تشجيع البحث العلمي الإحصائي والانضباط الإحصائي على وجه الخصوص.
- القيام بالأبحاث العلمية الإحصائية ونشرها لرفاهية المجتمع بالتعاون والتنسيق مع المؤسسات والأفراد المعنيين.
- توثيق روابط الود والزمالة بين أعضائها.
- المحافظة على أخلاقيات المهنة وسلوك ممارساتها.
